Job Summary

The Senior Corporate Development Analyst analyzes monthly and weekly operational and financial data for all service lines; evaluates current and previous financial data to make business recommendations; assists in analysis and maintenance of the organization’s internal financial model; assists in strategic M&A review and subsequent process management; provides commercial support to the sales and business development team.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the investment analysis leader, which entails discussion with different functions of the organization to find opportunities for improvement
  • Assist in regular maintenance and analysis of internal financial model
  • Compile and analyze monthly/weekly operational data for each service line
  • Bi-weekly touchpoints with division management to support financial model and other potential investment analysis
  • Develop and distribute dashboards in Power BI (model summary, AIP summary, etc.) while providing context in all reports
  • Coordinate the preparation of the quarterly board reports for the finance and operations teams
  • Become an expert in stock debt agreements, share repurchase, e-fleet leases, etc.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the peer group and track meaningful trends through peer comparable sheets
  • Provide finance support and analysis for all new and ongoing strategic initiatives
  • Aid and participate in additional tasks as necessary and assigned Monitor business and economic trends
  • Maintain banking relationships during a strategic M&A process
  • Assist with all areas of investor relations
  • Proof and edit quarterly earnings materials
  • Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE safety training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Other job duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar area of study, required
  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, preferred
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferred
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Must be able to interpret financial data (i.e., key financial ratios and valuation models)
  • Investment banking or private equity experience, preferred
  • Meticulous approach to financial modeling
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; can effectively communicate with Executive leadership and personnel at all levels of the organization
  • Highly organized and structured in approach to plan and prioritize workflow
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Advanced skills working in Microsoft 365 applications, specifically PowerPoint and Excel, and can quickly learn other work-related software
